& GPF Peace Partnership Agreement

Angelita Obara, President of FJMGP and some members of FJMGP Osaka Chapter spear headed the Filipino community participants in the recently concluded Multicultural Festival of Youth 2008 in Osaka .This was preceded by the 4 mini GPFs organized by FJMGP which were hosted in Nagano, Saitama, Fukuoka and Miyazaki , all held on same day of Oct.12 . Right after her participating the International Leadership Conference in Tokyo, she has to fly over to Osaka to attend this big event with an audience of not less than a thousand. This is one of the ongoing GPF promotion initiatives in preparation of the incoming Nov.15 main event in Tokyo. FJMGP was one among the GPF partners that had helped in mobilizing such gathering of multi-cultural audience, majority of which are Japanese youth.
As part of this occassion , Mrs. Obara was one of the speakers of the Peace Partnership Agreement for international VIP participants where the theme is "Multi-cultural society starts from multi-cultural exchange youth". Prominent Filipino leaders in Osaka and nearby areas were invited by FJMGP brothers and sisters to attend this rally . Mrs. Obara delivered the message of FJMGP`s role in organizing the different Filipino community groups in Japan and what Filipinos can do to help advocate peace in this nation. As a model for other international groups in Japan, the multi-cultural population can become bridge of peace for Japanese to become part and engage in GPF`s big dream of One Family under God.
